Abstract
This article analyzes the theoretical and practical aspects of using interactive methods in English language lessons. The study, based on modern pedagogical approaches, highlights the role of interactive methods in developing students’ communicative competence. In particular, the effectiveness of such methods as group work, discussion, role play, “brainstorming,” and “case-study” is substantiated through examples. Additionally, the impact of the interactive approach on increasing students’ independent thinking, activity, and motivation is examined. The results of the study show that the systematic use of interactive methods makes the process of learning English more effective, engaging, and outcome-oriented.
