Abstract
This article analyzes the current state and development prospects of museum tourism in Uzbekistan. The study examines the role of museums in preserving cultural heritage, attracting tourists, and supporting the development of the tourism industry. Particular attention is given to the ongoing reforms aimed at modernizing museums, improving tourism infrastructure, and increasing international tourist flows. Statistical data related to museum visitors and the most popular museums in Uzbekistan were analyzed to evaluate the growth trends of museum tourism. The results of the research indicate that museum tourism has significant potential for strengthening the country’s international tourism image and contributing to sustainable economic development. Based on the findings, several practical recommendations for improving museum tourism in Uzbekistan were proposed.
