Abstract
The rapid transformation of modern education requires the implementation of innovative pedagogical approaches capable of developing students’ creative thinking, emotional intelligence, aesthetic worldview, and cultural competence. In this context, music education occupies a unique place because it directly influences the emotional, intellectual, and spiritual development of learners. One of the central objectives of contemporary music pedagogy is the formation and development of music perception competence, which includes the ability to consciously listen to, analyze, emotionally interpret, and evaluate musical works. Traditional methods of music teaching often focus mainly on memorization and reproduction, while innovative educational technologies create opportunities for deeper perception, interactive participation, independent analysis, and creative engagement with music. This article examines theoretical and practical foundations of developing students’ music perception competence through innovative pedagogical approaches. The study analyzes interactive teaching methods, digital technologies, multimedia tools, collaborative learning strategies, emotional-response methodologies, interdisciplinary integration, and student-centered educational models used in music education.
