Abstract
This article analyzes the historical formation and geopolitical significance of the Sokh enclave. During the study, it is highlighted that the Sokh region emerged as an enclave as a result of the national-territorial delimitation policy during the Soviet era, and its impact on border relations between Uzbekistan and Kyrgyzstan is examined. The article substantiates the Sokh region's important role in geopolitical processes in Central Asia and emphasizes that interstate cooperation and an integrative approach are crucial in resolving problems associated with enclave territories.
