Abstract
In this article, the priorities of radical reform of the higher education system of Uzbekistan in the years of independence, the current socio-economic development of the country depends primarily on the training of well-educated, mature professionals, the training of competitive professionals in a market economy. The changes that have taken place as a result of the increased reforms, the adoption of a number of normative documents in this regard, and the gradual increase in the level of coverage of higher education were discussed.
