Lexicographic Study of Terms Relating to the Field of Insurance and Problems of Their Teaching

This article examines the lexicographic analysis of insurance terms and the problems of their teaching. As a result of the research, definitions of insurance terms in dictionaries, their use in English, Russian and Uzbek languages were analyzed. The results of the comparative-linguistic analysis showed that some terms do not have an exact equivalent in the Uzbek language. Pedagogical research helped to identify the main difficulties faced by students in teaching insurance terms. According to the results of the research, it is necessary to develop special dictionaries, methodological manuals and educational programs to increase the effectiveness of teaching insurance terminology.
