Abstract
Tourism infrastructure plays a crucial role in the development and diversification of regional economies in Uzbekistan. As the country seeks to capitalize on its rich cultural and natural resources, investments in transport, accommodation, communication, and public services have become essential to support increasing tourist flows. This paper examines how improvements in tourism infrastructure contribute to regional economic growth, job creation, and enhanced connectivity, particularly in less-developed areas. It also discusses the challenges of infrastructure gaps, regional disparities, and sustainable development. By strengthening tourism infrastructure, Uzbekistan can promote balanced regional development, reduce urban-rural divides, and foster inclusive economic opportunities.
