Abstract

This article analyzes the role and importance of budgeting in the enterprise management system and its impact on efficiency. It is highlighted that budgeting was initially formed as a financial control tool, and is currently manifested as the main integrator of strategic management and a value-based management model. The results of the study show that budgeting significantly increases management efficiency by ensuring the efficiency of resource allocation, adaptability to external factors, and transparency in reporting.
The article deeply studies the main stages of the budgeting process - planning, control, analysis, and correction - and substantiates their interdependence. It also examines the theoretical and practical aspects of resource management through the factor-budget analysis mechanism. As a result, it was found that budgeting strengthens the financial discipline of the enterprise, reduces risks, harmonizes strategic and operational goals, and accelerates the transition to digital management.
