Abstract
The sustainable development of small business and private entrepreneurship (SBPE) in the Khorezm region is a key driver of economic diversification, employment growth, and poverty reduction. This study investigates innovative approaches to enhancing the long-term viability and competitiveness of SBPEs by analyzing regional economic data from 2018 to 2024. Methodologically, the research integrates SWOT analysis, stakeholder interviews, and a comparative regional benchmarking framework. The findings highlight structural challenges, including limited access to finance, low digital literacy, and insufficient market infrastructure. At the same time, the region possesses strategic advantages, such as a young labor force, untapped tourism potential, and agricultural productivity. The study proposes a model based on the Triple Helix concept, emphasizing coordinated efforts between government, business, and academia to foster innovation, entrepreneurship ecosystems, and policy reform. The results contribute to developing evidence-based recommendations for enhancing the sustainability and innovation capacity of SBPEs in Khorezm.
