Entrepreneurship Development in Uzbekistan’s Service Sector Trends, Drivers, and Economic Impact

Entrepreneurship in Uzbekistan’s service sector has accelerated in recent years, becoming a key engine of economic growth and diversification. This thesis analyzes the trends in service sector entrepreneurship from 2020 to 2025, emphasizing economic factors that have spurred its development. Drawing on recent data, the study finds that services contribute roughly half of Uzbekistan’s GDP and employ about half of its workforce, reflecting a structural shift from agriculture and industry.
