Abstract
This paper discusses the role of transport modernisation in the framework of the Uzbekistan- 2030 Development Strategy and its wider implications in terms of economic transformation. As a country with a landlocked location, Uzbekistan has structural logistical problems, which directly impact trade competitiveness and regional integration. The study makes an analysis of policy priorities linked to road reconstruction, railway improvements, the reform of aviation and digital logistics systems. The findings imply that transport development is not merely in the frame of infrastructure development but in the strategic role of reducing transaction costs, reinforcing connectivity and improving national competitiveness. Effective implementation of these reforms could change Uzbekistan's economic position in Central Asia to a great extent.
